South of France

Once I had got into the swing of things and we were well into the season.
Although the Guests we had on board were very demanding.
We did have some down time, between charters and i would like to share some of those moments.

Below are Highlights from my Mediterranean season 2011.

Here we are leaving port bound for another destination
With no guests on board....Luxury

Here Chris the first mate is driving the Yacht into port
With the captain (Mark) looking on.

Whenever the Yacht is about to dock
all deck crew have to be ready with fenders
to stop any collisions. Here Amy is watching the starboard side.

Mario is at the aft end

Gelo is making sure most of the attached fenders
are at the correct hight.
looking cool, In your oakley's and baseball cap Gelo.

Coming into Cannes and Amy getting into position, ready to come alongside.
She was good at that ...lol.

Steph with fender in hand waiting to dock...She just wanted to get ashore
to go shopping....Something about varnish for corgi's....lol.
(that was an in house joke, I'll explain it sometime)

Amy part of the Interior crew still in position with her fender at the ready

Steph and Mario, posing. You will notice that Steph has the biggest fender!
Don't be fooled it is also the lightest.

Two very different Yachts.

This is the crew tag board..We had to put ourselves
In and out for obvious reasons. Here you can see
That Captain and Lorraine are out and Chris
would be driving the tender.

My Cabin, I shared with Chris the first Officer.
I had the top Bunk

Our laundry always came back neatly ironed and folded.
Home from Home

A Bugatti parked at the at the end of a yacht that was moored next to us

Gelo and Uzzel cleaning

Part of the engines as seen from the hatch on deck.

Gelo and Don hooking up the jet bike after guests had used it.
It had to be hoisted to top deck along with the tender to be stowed for cruising.

Me and Don one of the deckies....How Rude!!

Roy and Chris, on our bimble down from the castle in Cannes

Watching the fireworks from top deck in Cannes.

I thought i would add these two pictures of the nannies
to a Saudie Prince, they came on first with the luggage

And here is the luggage. This was the start of it
another van load came later...Where do you store it?
Steph and Amy standing at the end..It was their job
to Iron and hang all guests clothes before they wore it
Outrageous!!

St Tropez Harbour

Anchored off St Tropez as the sun sets.

Managed to get ashore for an Ice cream.

Walking to a restaurant with Mark and Lorraine, through the streets of St Tropez

View of St Tropez from the other side.
